As always, we feature steamed oysters for sale by the bucket provided by Pearlz Oyster Bar Columbia.

Oyster shooters, fried oysters, and oyster gumbo will also be available for purchase inside the festival.

ARTS & CRAFTS

Get your gift list ready! Wonderful arts and crafts vendors will be on hand displaying their creations.

It’s the perfect time to get one-of-a-kind treasures for the special people in your life… including yourself!

FOR THE KIDS

Children under 12 are admitted FREE.

There are kid-friendly games that the young ones will enjoy making this a great day for the entire family!


FAQ's

Q: How much does it cost?

A: $5 advance, $10 gate - Children 12 & under free. (Ticket price does not include food and beverages)

Q: Ya'll got beer and wine?

A: Man do we. Our beverage sponsors will offer a wide menu of adult beverage selections.

Q: Does the admission price include oysters?

A: Unfortunately, no. The high cost of oysters and the low cost of a ticket just don't match.

Q: How much are oysters?

A: PEARLZ Oyster bar will be selling buckets of steamed oysters for $15. Other vendors will sell oysters prepared in various ways at different price points. Oyster prices fluctuate from week to week and our vendors have to price based on costs the week of the festival.

Q: Do I need my own oyster knife?

A: If you have one, bring it! If you don't there will be tools available for you to purchase.

Q: What does my admission cost cover?

A: Entry to the historic grounds, fabulous live music on 2 stages all day, access to dozens of arts, crafts, and business vendors!

Q: Can I bring blankets and lawn chairs?

A: Yes, guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and strollers!

Q: Can I bring a cooler?

A: No, but not to worry, there are plenty of food & beverage vendors with all tastes in mind.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: Sorry, no pets are allowed. Just think how happy they will be to see you when you get home!

Q: What if it rains?

A: This is a rain or shine event.

Q: Can I take pictures during the festival?

A: YES! Take all the pictures you'd like... we encourage you to share them on social media and tag them #scoysterfest. We'll be looking for you!

Q: What should I bring?

A: Cash, an ID, chairs, blankets, oyster knives and a great attitude.

Q: What should I leave at home?

A: Pets, guns, food, drinks, fireworks, lame family members, and drama.

Q: Can I leave and come back in?

A: We can make arrangements for you if you need to leave and return later.

Q: Where do I park?

A: There is ample parking in the blocks surrounding Robert Mills House and Hampton-Preston Mansion. Entry is on Blanding Street from Henderson St or Pickens St.

Q: What if I don't eat oysters?

A: Well, you should try them. But if you have and don't like them, we have SEVERAL other food vendors with delicious choices available for purchase.

Q: Is this a family-friendly festival?

A: Yes indeed. We have a special children's area with games available for FREE!
