Taste of the Vine is Columbia’s premier wine experience, thoughtfully curated for those who appreciate exceptional wine and a refined tasting environment.

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, guests will gather at Central Energy for an elevated evening featuring 18 wine tables sampling nearly 100 different wines, intentional tasting experiences, and access to bottles you won’t typically encounter in a retail or festival setting. This is not a large-scale wine festival—it is a carefully designed experience that allows guests to explore wine in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere alongside fellow enthusiasts.

New this year, a Private Tasting Experience will be offered to a limited number of guests prior to the main event, led by Justin Daniels, Wine Director for Green’s Beverages, with early access to the wine gallery.

Whether you’re expanding your palate, discovering new favorites, or simply enjoying a well-crafted evening, Taste of the Vine offers a wine experience rarely available in Columbia.

Proceeds from the event benefit Transitions Homeless Center, supporting meaningful, long-term solutions to homelessness across the Midlands.

About Taste of the Vine

Presented in partnership between Green’s Beverages and Transitions Homeless Center, Taste of the Vine has become one of Columbia’s most distinctive philanthropic events. Thoughtfully curated and intentionally designed, the event pairs an elevated wine experience with meaningful community impact. Since its inception, Taste of the Vine has generated more than $250,000 in support of clients at Transitions, directly funding meals, case management, and pathways to permanent housing.

In recognition of this impact, Green’s Beverages was honored with the 2025 Market Watch Leaders Community Service Award for its leadership and commitment to Taste of the Vine. Together, Green’s and Transitions have built Taste of the Vine into both a premier wine experience and a powerful force for good in the Midlands.
